Vilcabamba is an accessible paradise, requiring only a flight to Quito and then a short flight to Loja.

From the US, non-stop flights to Quito originate in JFK, Newark, Miami, and Houston. American Airlines, Continental Airlines, and LAN Ecuador service these non-stop routes. Single-stop flights to Quito are available from virtually all other major US airports.

Flights between Quito and Loja Airport (located in Catamayo) are available on TAME, Ecuador's national airline, (See Flight Schedules or Book Your Flight).

Flying time between Quito and Loja is approximately 60 minutes. Transfers from Loja to Vilcabamba take approximately 75 minutes.
